(Lammas Day - first day of the catnip

8:00 AM: Have just thoroughly
checked my fur - all the fleas have fled. The awful smell from
that spray has chased them away.
9:00 AM: An ancient old flea has just
staggered out from under my bed coughing and spluttering. He
said he was from the International Flea Institute for Biological
Research which has operated from under the bed for the last five
years. Apparently they had just discovered the formula for a
serum that would allow all Creaturekind to live free from
disease. He said that he was the only survivor of the
Nuclear-Flea-Spray-Attack and as he had just minutes to live he
must pass the formula on to me. He was most insistent that I let
everyone know about the formula and said the future of the World
was in my hands. It’s very complicated so I must remember to
write it in my diary later today. But now I must sleep - I’ll
need all my energy for tonight’s Lammas Party.
