Killer introduced me to the members of his
gang, Satan, Scarface, Snapbone and Rosepetal. They all seem
very nice. I asked Snapbone how he got such an odd name. “Don’t
know,” he replied pensively, “sometimes they go crunch rather
than snap!”
Killer said that his gang is called Cosa
Nostra and while the gang’s together I am to call him Capo.
In a few days time we are all meeting up for
an initiation ceremony. I’m looking forward to that.
I was right about Killer; he’s kind at heart
- he just hides it with his harsh outward aggression.

The wise cat sees the bowl and eats the cream.
- M. T. D’Lemma, 1908
I overheard my human say, “You are what you eat”. This is very
worrying, for today I’ve eaten three mice and four frogs.

I meow therefore I am.
I sleep therefore I am happy.
I purr therefore I am adored.
