10:10 AM: I have decided that being
Snowball’s special-friend is just too dangerous. Instead of
wasting my time on love I’m going to fulfill my resolution to
become the world’s most famous cat. I will be the first cat to
climb Everest. I will begin training tomorrow, for today
Trousers is out at work and I have the opportunity to sleep on
my new chair without being disturbed.
10:45 AM: Brat has a new toy - a blue
plastic whistle. When he blows it my whole body quivers, my hair
stands on end, and I involuntarily jump three feet in the air. I
am forced to give up my comfortable chair and seek refuge in my
shed.
11:30 PM: My humans are all in bed. I
am on my chair playing with my new toy - a blue plastic
whistle. I have already managed to chew it into three pieces.
