11:00 AM: First thing this morning, I
took some packets of
Honey-Roast-Rabbit-Substitute-With-Additives-E205-and-E311-in-Mint-Sauce
to Kitsune. He burst open the packets and scoffed the lot in two
seconds.
He told me what had happened; he had been out
with his mum and dad when they were spotted by a hunt. Before he
could find cover, a pack of dogs were chasing after him. After
running for miles he began to tire and the dogs closed in - he
was sure he would be killed. Fortunately he came to some thorny
briar bushes and was able to squeeze through them more easily
than the dogs could. With a little distance between him and his
assailants, he had a chance to escape. Ahead of him lay a
stream. He outwitted his pursuers by running along the course of
the stream causing the dogs to lose his scent. Feeling that he
would soon be safe he headed for the cover of the woods but in
his haste he didn’t notice the trap.
11:11 PM: My humans had friends round
for a barbeque. Trousers was surprised that the food disappeared
so quickly. He had to drive to the shop to buy more. I now have
enough meat to keep Kitsune going for days.
